Take on an intense and action-packed new quest that serves as a prequel to the anime, featuring characters from the show. Equip V with new gear inspired by Weak Kingsley, one of the anime’s main characters, and blast tracks from a new radio station that features tunes from both Edgerunners and Edgerunners 2.

Meet the Glamdocs! These new cyberware vendors offer you a whole new way to customize your V. Check out 40 preem cyberware styles in a range of designs and colors that you can’t get anywhere else. Once bought, go further with customizations by changing colors and decals as you see fit.

When the action kicks off, blast enemies to kingdom come like a legendary solo with Dual Wielding — a totally new playstyle. With dedicated perks and abilities, equip two pistols or revolvers at the same time and go gung-ho with overwhelming firepower and style!

Change up your Night City experience with the introduction of Mod.io integration! Use the in-game mods panel to find and download mods from creators around the world, making your journey in the City of Dreams even more unique.

Do I need to own the Phantom Liberty expansion or Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition to get the update?

No, Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5) is free to all players who own the base game of Cyberpunk 2077. Owning Phantom Liberty or the Ultimate Edition is not required.
Will I lose my progress in the game?

The update doesn’t require you to start a new game, so you can keep playing wherever you last left off.
How can I get Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5)?

If you already own Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC or, Mac (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), the Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5) will automatically download on October 22nd — provided you’re hooked up to the Internet! If you don’t own the game, you’ll need to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 to access Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5). The update will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Apple App Store at a later date.
