Panam is a Nomad, one of the Aldecaldos; a tight-knit family of roving free spirits — though by adoption, not birth. She left the family behind to take on work as a mercenary, the kind of entanglement with rotten-world corporations and cyberpunks the Aldecaldos deliberately shun. But she never lost her love for freedom or her connection with her long-time family.

Judy is Night City’s most talented braindance technician. She edits virtus with an artistry that’s sorely lacking from the wider BD market, operating out of the basement of Lizzy’s Bar — HQ of The Mox gang. Judy’s fierce independent spirit means she’s always one to fight back against injustice, no matter how outspoken or outgunned she might be.

A Heywood native with a big heart, Jackie’s dream of hitting the big leagues was thwarted by the same thing that made him a great friend: trust. His easy charm and unwavering loyalty were a bright spot in Night City’s cut-throat world of mercs.

Their big break comes with the Konpeki Plaza heist, but nothing goes as planned: V ends up with an experimental prototype chipped into their head, slowly overwriting their personality with that of Johnny Silverhand. V’s newest mission is survival, whatever the cost.

One of Night City’s most iconic figures. Frontman of chrome-rock band SAMURAI, and as anti-corpo as they come, Johnny is the epitome of the term “rockerboy”. Rebellious, and stubborn, this hot-headed son of a bitch went out with a bang back in 2023; come 2077, we find him stuck inside V’s head.

The ultimate boogeyman of Night City — just a mention of his name makes the toughest mercs sweat. Adam Smasher’s humanity was always questionable, sure, but there’s little left on show now. He’s all chrome, turned into a borg via full-body conversion, and employed by Arasaka to crush its enemies — Johnny Silverhand included.
