Here’s your first look at Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a 10-episode anime story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, created by CD PROJEKT RED in cooperation with Studio Trigger. It premieres on Netflix in September 2022.
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
During Netflix’s Geeked Week we showed an Inside Look into the series — a short documentary where our staff commented on the show’s development, showcased stills and concept art, as well as an exclusive clip and scene breakdown from the anime. Future behind-the-scenes videos will cover other aspects of the show, with extra insight from members of Studio Trigger.
